01. What regions do you operate in?

Cooper Contractors LLC currently operates in the Gulf of Mexico (primary focus), Permian Basin, and select North Sea support operations. We mobilize to other domestic and international basins on a project-by-project basis. Contact our operations desk to discuss availability in your region.

Every offshore crew member holds current BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) or FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training) certifications. All drilling supervisors maintain IADC WellSharp Advanced certification. Our HSE systems comply with API RP 75 and BSEE Safe Gulf requirements. We provide annual recertification and monthly well control drills across all units.

Both. Many clients choose Cooper Contractors for integrated drilling packages — we self-perform offshore drilling, directional drilling, fluids management, and subsea intervention under one contract. However, we also offer each service category standalone. You can hire us for just coiled tubing, just solids control, or just plug and abandonment. No minimum bundle required.

Mobilization timelines vary by service and location. Typical averages:

  • Offshore drilling rig: 14–21 days

  • Directional drilling crew & tools: 5–7 days

  • Well intervention (HWO/coiled tubing): 7–10 days

  • Subsea RLWI spread: 10–14 days

  • Drilling fluids & solids control: 3–5 days

Emergency interventions receive priority dispatch. Contact our 24/7 hotline for expedited requests.

As of 2026, Cooper Contractors has achieved 4.2 million consecutive man-hours without a lost-time incident (LTI). The company has recorded zero environmental spills or permit violations in the trailing 5 years. Our BOP test compliance remains at 100% (monthly and post-trip). These metrics are independently verifiable through BSEE and our third-party safety audits.

Cooper Contractors operates on transparent, fixed-rate or day-rate pricing as agreed in the Master Service Agreement (MSA). We do not issue surprise change orders. Any scope change requires written justification and client approval before work proceeds. If Cooper Contractors causes non-productive time (NPT) due to equipment failure or procedural error, we credit the affected time on the next invoice. This policy is included in every MSA.
